Student Council
The primary aim of our Student Council is to foster a sense of responsibility among the students as well as an active involvement in the running of the school.
Those involved in the student council develop leadership qualities and organisational skills. The council reflects the ideas and opinions of the student body and acts as the official chanel through which members of the student body may communicate with the staff on matters of general interest.
The Council is made up of two students from each year group. The students are elected by their classmates every September.
The Student Council is a full member of the Irish Second Level Students Union (ISSU)
At CBS Westland Row, our student Council has undertaken many large scale projects, such as the renovation of the school yard. They also get involved in issues such as school lunches and events such as the Christmas celebrations.
