Ed Hub

CBS Westland row are fortunate to have The Hub within the school.

This facility has been running successfully as a separate class group since 1999/2000. The aim of the Hub is to facilitate students who struggle in the mainstream classroom for various reasons. Students can attend the Hub on a short or longer-term basis depending on their needs and the recommendations of professionals. Staff in the Hub are specifically equipped to deal with a range of student needs, from learning difficulties to behavioural disorders. The Hub allows students to work at a pace that suits them in an encouraging and flexible environment, while enabling the mainstream teachers to focus on the curriculum content and encourage high achievers.
